There may be 1000s of accountants, web designers, engineers, nurses, plumbers, business analysts in your neck of the woods, but people come to see you, because of you … because of what you, uniquely bring to the work that you do. Or what you, uniquely will bring to the work that you wish to do.
It’s about where you shine, where you lose yourself doing work that enthrals you; its about an awareness of you, your strengths, your foibles, the irrepressible you!
It could be your brilliance, your gentleness, your intuition, your directness and accountability, perhaps it’s your intellect, your humour, your thoroughness, your compassion and diligence. Or maybe you encourage others through your ambition and motivation, your acceptance, your quickness of wit and lightness of foot. It could simply be because of the way that you say things and know that you are understood, and the way that people feel comfortable just being with you.
Ann counsels and coaches clients encountering career struggles at any Life transition, from choosing subjects for Grade 10, school leavers needing degree / course / career choices as well as those experiencing the life/career shifts that often arrive in the form of quarter or mid-life crises.
Sometimes she acts as a conduit between your daily struggles and finding therapeutic intervention. In such cases she will work with you to gain clarity regarding things that are in your power to change and to help you identify more stubborn issues, which could benefit from deeper therapeutic intervention. Should this be the need, Ann will refer you to a range of trusted health care professionals.
